A little bit about me

Hi, I'm Flor, a 31-year-old from Argentina. As I don't have any children of my own, I'm able to provide full-time care. With over 10 years of experience in childcare, I've had the pleasure of caring for kids of all ages and backgrounds, from infants a few months old to pre-teens.

My specialty is caring for babies and young children up to 6 years old, including those with special needs, such as Down syndrome. I have a natural affinity for kids, plenty of patience, and a passion for engaging with them through play, teaching them Spanish, and helping them learn new skills every day.

Some of the fun activities I enjoy doing with kids include arts and crafts, storytime, beach trips, swimming, cooking, and playing with playdough, among many others. I'm excited to meet your family and provide top-notch care for your little ones

More About Me

Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

I’ve been living in the United States for many years, and during that time I’ve cared for children of all ages — from infants just a few months old to preteens up to 13 years old. I also have experience working with children with autism and Down syndrome, which has taught me a lot about patience, understanding, and adapting to each child’s unique needs. One of the most special parts of my job has been helping many little ones learn to walk and talk — moments I truly treasure.

I love bringing fun and creativity into everything we do. I enjoy teaching Spanish through play, singing, painting, and everyday conversations. I’m a very proactive and energetic person, and I always try to make our time together full of joy, learning, and positive experiences. My goal is to create a safe, happy, and stimulating environment where children can grow, express themselves, and have fun while learning.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

I really enjoy doing creative and fun activities with children that help them learn and express themselves. Some of my favorites include arts and crafts, singing songs, dancing, reading stories, and playing educational games. I also love spending time outdoors — going for walks, playing at the park, going to the pool or the beach, and doing simple nature activities.

I try to incorporate Spanish into our daily routine in a playful and natural way, whether we’re singing, talking, or reading together. I believe that learning through play is one of the best ways for children to grow, so I always aim to make our time together both fun and meaningful.

The most important part about being a nanny...

For me, the most important part of being a nanny is creating a safe, loving, and positive environment where children feel seen, heard, and valued. It’s about building trust — not only with the children, but also with the parents — and becoming a reliable, caring presence in their daily lives.

Being a nanny isn’t just about supervision, it’s about supporting a child’s growth, encouraging their creativity, helping them build confidence, and being there to celebrate their milestones — big or small. I believe that love, patience, and consistency are key in helping children thrive, and I feel truly honored to be part of that process in their lives.

My experience with special needs children...

I have had the opportunity to care for children with special needs, including those with autism and Down syndrome. These experiences have taught me the importance of patience, consistency, and understanding each child’s unique way of communicating and interacting with the world. I always try to create a calm, supportive, and structured environment where they feel safe, respected, and free to be themselves.

Working with children with special needs has helped me become more attentive, flexible, and creative in how I approach everyday routines and learning moments. I focus on celebrating small achievements, building trust, and encouraging their independence while always showing empathy and care.

The most important part about being a nanny...

One of my favorite moments as a nanny was when a little boy I had been caring for finally took his first steps while we were playing together. I had been working with him for weeks, encouraging him gently and celebrating every small effort. The joy on his face — and mine — was unforgettable. Moments like that remind me why I love what I do so much.

I also cherish the little everyday moments, like when a child starts singing a song in Spanish that we’ve been practicing, or when they run to me with a big smile when I arrive. Those simple but meaningful connections are what make being a nanny so special for me.
