I currently work as an elementary school teacher, where I support children with a wide range of learning styles, abilities, and needs, including students with special needs. My experience includes supervising children, assisting with academics, encouraging positive behavior, creating engaging activities, and helping with daily routines. I’m CPR and First Aid certified. My goal is to provide dependable, compassionate care while making sure every child feels safe, supported, and has fun.

I enjoy doing a variety of age-appropriate and engaging activities with children, including arts and crafts, reading stories, imaginative play, outdoor games, nature walks, and helping with homework. I also like doing hands-on learning activities, simple baking or cooking projects, puzzles and board games, and anything that encourages creativity, curiosity, and fun while still feeling structured and safe.

To me, the most important part of being a nanny is making sure children feel safe, cared for, and understood. It’s about building trust, being consistent, and showing up with patience and positivity. I also think it’s important to bring a sense of fun and creativity into the day while still providing structure and support.
My experience with special needs children...
I have experience supporting children with ADHD, autism spectrum disorder, and various learning disabilities. In a school setting, I also work with students who have speech and language delays, emotional regulation challenges, and behavioral needs. I focus on adapting instruction, providing structure and consistency, and using patience and positive reinforcement to help each child succeed.
The most important part about being a nanny...
One of my favorite parts of working with children is seeing their confidence grow when something “clicks” for them. I love those small moments—whether it’s a child proudly finishing a craft, reading a new book on their own, or feeling proud after learning a new skill. Being part of that progress and helping them feel supported and capable is what makes childcare so rewarding for me.
