"Sophie has been an exceptional nanny for my daughter starting when she was about 5 months old. Sophie has a natural ability to connect with others, making her a trusted figure in our household. She showed a high level of initiative and organization by keeping the living space and nursery clean and tidy, preparing educational activities, and working toward new developmental milestones with our baby. I would recommend Sophie to anyone looking for childcare!"

More About Me
Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...
I’ve worked as a 1:1 paraprofessional in a public elementary school, and I’ve subbed across grades K–8, so I’m comfortable with a wide range of ages and needs. I was also a camp counselor for three summers and a lifeguard, which taught me how to stay attentive, calm under pressure, and proactive about safety. Last summer, I nannied full-time for a 4-month-old and truly loved being part of her developmental milestones.
Activities I enjoy doing with children...
I love engaging kids in creative play, outdoor adventures, arts and crafts, reading together, or even helping with learning activities if needed! I adjust based on their age and interests, but my goal is always to keep things fun, nurturing, and balanced. I also really enjoy helping babies and toddlers explore the world safely and happily.
The most important part about being a nanny...
To me, the most important part of being a nanny is showing up with love, consistency, and respect. Kids thrive when they feel safe and understood, and I believe in building trust with both the child and the family. Whether it’s helping with the little daily routines or being there through the big milestones, I take that responsibility seriously and with a lot of heart.
My experience with special needs children...
During my time as a paraprofessional, I worked closely with students who had various emotional, behavioral, and learning needs. I supported them in both academic tasks and social-emotional development. That experience taught me how to be flexible, patient, and attentive to each child’s unique strengths and challenges.
The most important part about being a nanny...
One of my favorite moments was when the baby I cared for last summer started to recognize me and would light up when I walked in the door. Building that kind of bond—where a child feels safe, loved, and excited to see you—is honestly the most rewarding part of this work for me.
