More About Me

Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

Amongst the numerous experiences I've had caring for children, I discovered my passion while being a student at Doulos Discovery School. I became an After School Program Tutor and Leader. I not only helped with homework, but also made sure to keep a disciplined, organized, homeroom space, all while making sure the kids had fun learning.
Through Doulos, I was also able to volunteer teaching at a small school in a town with poor education and way of living, improving some of the children's counting and reading abilities!

I did not care for a child with special needs, but am willing to learn and care for one with all the love in the world.
I have had little experience at Genesis, a school in the Dominican Republic dedicated to teaching special needs children and I was able to volunteer teaching for a week.

The most important part about being a nanny...

My favorite nanny moments have been witnessing any of the kids I have cared for accomplish a skill for the first time! Whether it was taking a first step, saying their first word, or completing a puzzle by themselves!
