Hi! My name is Francis and I’m a recent graduate. In my free time I like to draw, listen to music, and read. I’ve worked with children all my life, my grandmother being a specialist for children with disabilities, passing down her knowledge to me. I can cook anything (recipe included), clean very well, and I’m great with kids and parents. I speak fluent English and almost fluent Spanish (4+ years), as well as being CPR and First Aid certified. I've been a babysitter since I was 10 years old for parents in my church community. I'm also a caregiver for my sisters two children. Contact me if you'd like a more extensive resume of my work history.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

I enjoy enriching, creative activities with children. From playing outside and learning about foraging plants/native animals, to staying inside and making a painting, I believe all children should have a creative outlet.

The most important part about being a nanny...

Leaving kids with tools that they can use to teach themselves is critical. We're all just grown up kids who had to learn how to teach ourselves. Learning how to ask inquisitive, guided questions and advocate for oneself is a skill built up our entire lives.

My experience with special needs children...

I am comfortable with watching special needs children, as I was raised watching special needs children per my grandmother's work as a special needs teacher. I also have experience with medication distribution, so long as adequate information like time frames and measurements are provided.

The most important part about being a nanny...

The first time I was really able to understand my impact on children was when a young girl I'd cared for was going through a tough moment. Most kids huff and puff, as she did, but after a few moments I watched her recollect herself, take some deep breaths, and come tell me what had happened. She was two. I'd never been prouder.
