The most important thing about being a nanny are to stay positive and be a good example for the children. You have to always be alert to the surroundings of the children and watch what they're doing. You want to be patient with the kids and try to help them out as much as you can and try to see their problems from their perspective.

I've been helping take care of my special needs brother since he was 8. Any time my parents weren't around I'd take care of him.
