A little bit about me

Hi! My name is Gaby and I’m a caring, patient, and responsible person who loves working with children. I’m currently a full-time college student studying Educational Studies, and my goal is to become an early childhood or elementary teacher. Because of my coursework and hands-on experience, I understand child development, learning styles, and how to create a positive and supportive environment for kids.

I enjoy doing crafts, reading with children, helping with homework, and planning fun activities that keep kids engaged without relying on screens. I’m also bilingual in English and Spanish, which helps me communicate with a wide range of families.

More About Me

Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

I volunteer with two non-profit organizations that focus on mentorship with young girls. Which help the girls make good decisions, build confidence, and explore new ideas, make friends and have fun in a safe and welcoming

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

I love working with children and enjoy creating fun, hands-on activities that help them learn and grow. Some of my favorite things to do with kids include arts and crafts, reading stories, playing outside, imaginative play, and simple educational games that build early skills. I’m patient, responsible, and attentive, and I always make sure children feel safe, supported, and understood.

My experience with special needs children...

In high school I was a special needs mentor. I was given the opportunity to work alongside special needs students, which meant assisting with classwork, projects, or whatever the student needed.

The most important part about being a nanny...

My favorite part about being a nanny actually comes from my own childhood. My mom has been a nanny for as long as I can remember, and I grew up alongside the kids she cared for. We built such close relationships that I still consider them like my siblings. Now that I’m older, the younger kids she takes care of look up to me like an older sister, and that connection means so much to me.
