A little bit about me

I’m an active mom to 2 young adults- I homeschooled them in Oregon. My greatest joy is to see them both walking in integrity and fearlessness. I recently moved here to explore the east coast and attend nursing school. This summer I served elderly in their homes. I love serving people of all ages. Last summer I was a preschool teacher after my third grade class ended. I taught third graders at a Christian school for 2 years, I had my own in-home childcare for a decade[phone number hidden]). During this time we made our family the “second “ family for the same 2-3 families for a 6 year span. I was the preschool teacher for our Classical Conversations co-op as well as leading summer classes for ages 8-10. I have experience with special needs and am very mindful of body- mind- spirit connection. I love music!!!! I incorporate staying fit in daily activities, being outdoors, reading classic books, learning about a wide variety of subjects—- and I love pets, too.

I also taught children in the homeschool community- varying ages in our 12- year education journey. I love children’s literature and reading to kids!
