Activities I enjoy doing with children...
I love doing fun, creative, and active activities with children, including singing, playing guitar, ukulele, and piano, as well as age-appropriate acting and performance activities. I enjoy storytelling, putting on little performances, arts and crafts, drawing, coloring, dancing, and creative games. I also love playing ball, soccer, and other outdoor games. Other activities I enjoy include puzzles, board games, scavenger hunts, nature walks, educational games, building with blocks or LEGO, and making up songs or stories together. I like keeping children engaged while allowing them to be creative, active, and have fun!
The most important part about being a nanny...
The most important part of being a nanny is making sure children feel safe, cared for, respected, and comfortable while their parents are away. I believe it is important to build trust with both the children and their family, be patient and dependable, and understand that every child has their own personality and needs. I want children to feel heard and supported while also having fun, learning, being creative, and enjoying their time with me. To me, being a nanny is more than supervision, it is being a positive, trustworthy person that a child can feel safe and happy around.

I was a music therapist for students with special needs at the Els Center of Excellence for a year teaching fundamental learning through music!
The most important part about being a nanny...
My favorite nanny moment is when I was taking care of a 6 year old child who was struggling with focus and hyperactivity so I honed in on their abilities and taught them how to play the piano. She took to it so quickly and passionately that six months later she ended up performing in front of a massive crowd for a piano recital and ended up winning! It was a very proud moment for me to know that after she was able to put her energy into music her grades at school started going up as well now that she had an outlet for all that excitement!
