Hi! I’m Gabby! I have a degree in Psychology with minors in Leadership Studies and Business Management. I’ve always loved working with children. I have several years of experience working in recreation programs with kids of all ages, where I’ve supervised activities, coached youth sports, and helped create a fun, safe, and positive environment. I also have long-term babysitting experience caring for twins and a toddler, so I’m comfortable managing multiple children and different ages at once. I’m dependable, patient, energetic, and love staying active, whether that means playing outside, doing crafts, helping with homework, or coming up with fun activities. My background in psychology has also given me a strong understanding of development, behavior, and the importance of creating a supportive environment for children. Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

I worked for Hermon Recreation (in Maine) for several years, where I supervised children of various ages, planned activities, and coached youth sports. I also worked as a substitute teacher while in college, including experience in a special education classroom. Additionally, I have long-term babysitting experience caring for twins and a toddler.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

I love staying active and having fun with kids! Some of my favorite activities include playing outside, going on walks, arts and crafts, games, reading, baking, and coming up with creative activities based on their interests. I also enjoy sports and anything that keeps kids engaged, learning, and having fun!

The most important part about being a nanny...

The most important part of being a nanny is being someone both the child and parents can trust. I want children to feel safe, supported, and comfortable being themselves while also knowing their parents can feel confident that their child is being cared for, encouraged, and genuinely loved while they’re away.

My experience with special needs children...

Most of my experience with children with special needs has been working with children with autism. I gained experience through recreation programs and while working as a substitute teacher, including in a special education classroom. I’m patient, understanding, and comfortable adapting activities and routines to meet each child’s individual needs.

The most important part about being a nanny...

My favorite nanny moments are the little ones, when a child gets excited to see me, asks me to stay longer, or wants to show me something they’re proud of. Building that trust and becoming someone a child feels safe, comfortable, and happy with is always the most rewarding part for me.
