Preschool teacher, toddler teacher, infant teacher. I was EEC certified. Then I became a nanny. The family no longer needed me so here I am!

Arts and crafts, dancing, reading, outdoor play, water play, fun little science projects (example: plant flowers, sink or float, ect.).
The most important part about being a nanny...
Honestly? Yes, you need to keep the children, Safe, occupied, and happy. But I do feel like a very important part of being a Nanny is to build a very strong, trusting, and reliable relationship with the family! There is nothing more comforting than knowing that the parents and child you are nannying are happy that they’ve found themselves a good nanny! So I guess my favorite part is genuinely getting to know the family!
My experience with special needs children...
I have had many children on the spectrum in the places I have worked. A lot more than you would think because they were very young and weren’t yet diagnosed. Also, I have two nephews that are autistic (level two). One of the I see and spend time with daily.
The most important part about being a nanny...
My favorite nanny moment was when me and my prior six year-old kiddo went hunting for sticks, and we Built a big tipi hut thing. She fit inside, I didn’t LOL. It lasted all summer though!
