A little bit about me

Hi! My name is Gennesis and I’m a college student at the University of Rhode Island with over 8 years of hands-on childcare experience. I’ve helped my mom run her in-home daycare, which cares for around 14 children ranging from 3 months to 8 years old. I also nannied a now 5-year-old for 3 years and have become the go-to babysitter for friends and family.

I’m also a Sunday school teacher at Awakening Church in Smithfield, where I work closely with 3–4-year-olds and 6–8-year-olds. My faith plays a big role in how I care for children—with patience, kindness, and love always at the center.

I recently graduated at the top of my class from a charter high school and am now pursuing my dream of becoming a lawyer. I’m bilingual (English & Spanish), responsible, and great at tutoring and homework help. I also have my driver’s license and a flexible schedule. I genuinely love working with kids and always aim to create a safe, uplifting, and engaging environment for them to grow.
