A little bit about me

I have over 30 years of experience working with kids of all ages as an au-pair, babysitter, mother's helper, nanny & professional nanny. I worked in long term, temporary, full-time, part-time and on-call with over 100 families. I had very challenging positions as a childcare provider, working with high-profiles and celebrities. I have many diplomas (child care, child psychology, early childhood education, nutrition). First-Aid/CPR/AED Certified & National COVID-Ready Caregiver Certified (NextStep).. Fluent in French & English. Today, I am an on-call nanny, helping families who need extra help/back-up such as if a nanny cannot come, or if you need extra hours so you can have some time for yourself, or for date-night. I also stay with kids overnight if parents need to go out of town without their kids. I can help with errands, cooking, organizing. More About Me

I taught French to a few children, in a school (for kids who were advanced in French compare to the rest of the class).

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

Playdates are great, however, this is not what I do every day! I prefer to add different activities, to let the child explore and learn. Activities will depend on the child's interests and the family's needs and desires. Reading, teaching French in a fun way (games and activities), taking them to events/festivals, nature walks, parks, picnics, indoor places such as museums, children's centers etc, taking them on a day trip, fruits' picking, etc. I like outdoors a lot, making sure children are safe and happy.

Being flexible and understanding the family's dynamic, believes and way of life. Respecting their boundaries and needs.

My experience with special needs children...

I took care of children with ADHD, ADD, Sensory Processing Disorder, Autism, Epilepsy.

I always have special moments with children I take care. I took care of over 100 children in the past 33 years. Some kids for many years, others for a few months and others a few days depending on the job I had. Children taught me, made me laugh and surprised me...and today still, after 33 years of experience!
