Hi! My name is Gisela Perjes. I am 18 years old and was born and raised in Chicago Illinois. I am Mexican American and know both English and Spanish. I am very outgoing, love the outdoors, healthy food, and helping.
In high school I graduated with the National Honor Society award. I enjoy school and acquiring knowledge. I currently am out of state attending my first year at the University of Kansas and majoring in Business Administration. I have worked in the Restaurant Industry for 3 years helping my Mother run her restaurant.

I have help take care of my younger brother and many cousins at the age of 13 and continuing. Im familiar with the responsibility when taking care of someone’s child. Taking them to after school activities, making sure they have the proper food, helping them with their homework, and getting them ready for bed. I also understand tidying up and cleaning around the house as parents love to come back to a clean home after a long day.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

I love going to parks. Watching kids experience the playground and meet different children and acquire new friends are amazing experiences young children must have.

Going out for hikes and exploring new things to keep them interested.

Eating! I personally am a foodie and love to try new things. It’s amazing to see them try different foods and what they like and may not.

Helping with homework is crucial. I needed help when I was younger and making sure the child understands his work and completes it.

The most important part about being a nanny...

Making sure the kids are safe and well taken care of. I’ve seen first hand that it takes a village to care for a child, and I want to make sure every child is helped for when needed.
Getting to experience young children growing and experiencing new things is truly wonderful.
