During my school years I had the opportunity to be part of the Beta club in which we would do a lot of community service, in one of the many times I volunteered we got to go to an elementary school and do some activities with the kids for Friday fun day.

When it comes to activities, it all depends on the children’s ages for my older kids, I love taking the kids outside to play tag or anything their little heart’s desire. But on the afternoons to whine down I like to either read some books, color or even play board games. Now when it comes to the little ones, I like to put some music on and have a little dance session or if they're feeling a bit tired, I always like to bring out stickers that they can use on a paper to decorate or even draw on.

The most important part of being a nanny is being able to connect on a deep level with the kids, build a safe and loving relationship with them. I believe its one of the most rewarding parts of my life being able to start a connection with the kids and seeing them develop into the great little beings they are.

My favorite nanny moment was when I was babysitting my favorite girly Yamine, she was 8 years old at the moment, she always enjoyed it whenever I showed up wearing makeup since I would try to do colorful looks that I know she would enjoy. One day she asked if I could do her makeup as well, so with the parent’s approval I bought her some safety kids makeup and when I gave it to her face lit up of joy and we spent the afternoon doing each other’s makeup.
