A little bit about me

Hi! My name is Glenda AKA Nanny Gigi and I've been working with kids since I was 13 and love it. I’m a 50 years old wife, mom, stepmom and grandmother to 3 grandchildren. I started out by watching 3 kids as their mother trained to become a triathlete and in exchange her dentist husband put braces on me. Over the last 10 yrs, I've worked primarily with infants and toddlers, but I love kids of all ages. If it's nice out, I like to take the kids outside, for walks or the park but if not, we play indoors, color and learn the basics before PreK. In my free time and weekends, I love being outdoors, swimming, training for a marathon, riding my bike, spending time with my granddaughters, going to dinner with family and friends or having cookouts.

I have many favorite moments, but for me it’s seeing the kids first thing when they wake up and their just happy to get out of their cribs, witnessing their firsts of everything from picking their heads up, sitting up, crawling, steps, feeding themselves, saying your name and so much more.
