Hi, I’m Genaro! For over 10 years, I’ve worked with children and young people as an educator, mentor, and artist in public schools, nonprofits, and community programs. I’m bilingual in English and Spanish and a father of three, ages 11, 17, and 19. I have also worked with organizations such as Artists For Humanity and MissionSAFE as an artist, mentor, and youth worker for more than a decade.Throughout my career, I’ve worked with kids of different ages, backgrounds, personalities, and learning styles. My experience includes teaching, leading creative projects and activities, mentoring young artists, and helping young people discover their talents and build confidence in their abilities. Working with youth has taught me the value of patience, communication, structure, creativity, and understanding each child as an individual. I’m also a father of three, so being present, and helping them learn, grow, and become confident in who they are has been a big part of both my career and my life.
