Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...
I have provided childcare for family members and other families, which has given me experience supervising children, following their routines, planning activities, and ensuring they feel safe and supported. I have also volunteered at a Halloween festival for children, where I helped create a fun, welcoming, and engaging experience for the families attending. These experiences have taught me to be patient, dependable, attentive, and responsive to each child’s individual needs.

I enjoy keeping children active and engaged through outdoor play, sports, games, arts and crafts, and other age-appropriate activities. I played soccer from the age of three through high school and also participated in gymnastics and cheerleading for a short time. I absolutely love the water and jokingly refer to myself as a mermaid, so swimming and safe, supervised water activities are some of my favorites. I would enjoy sharing my love of movement, fun, and creativity with the children I care for while also choosing activities based on their individual interests.

The most important part of being a nanny is creating a safe and nurturing environment while building a trusting relationship with both the children and their family. I want parents to feel confident that their children are receiving dependable, attentive care. I also believe consistency and open communication are essential because every family has its own routines, expectations, and parenting preferences.

My favorite nanny experience was developing a meaningful bond with one of the children I cared for. Over time, that connection also grew into a friendship between the child and my eight-year-old aunt. It was special to see the children form their own friendship and to know that the relationship continued beyond my time as their caregiver.
