More About Me
Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...
I’ve cared for children of all ages through long-term nannying, babysitting, and helping families with daily routines, homework, meals, transportation, and any other help a family may need. I am very hands-on
In addition to nannying and babysitting, I worked as a farm program coordinator for children, where I helped create a fun, hands-on learning environment. I guided children through outdoor activities, nature-based learning, teamwork, and animal interactions.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...
I love going outdoors, beach walks, parks, swimming, baking, reading, and helping children learn through play. I like to keep kids active and engaged in life.
I also like doing creative activities, like arts and crafts, painting, and drawing. Movie nights are fun too!!

The most important part about being a nanny...
To me, the most important part of being a nanny is creating an environment where children feel safe, comfortable, and able to fully be themselves. I think being patient, loving, dependable, and attentive matters the most.
I feel like I learn something new every day from kids by being in the present moment. As much as I can show them patience and love, they can teach me the same. Kids have such a loving and light perspective on life. I think there’s a lot of adults who can learn from that.
They also definitely keep me on my feet! That is important too.

My experience with special needs children...
I have experience working with special needs children with autism and down syndrome through both caregiving and volunteer work. I’m attentive and understanding, and I approach every child with patience, compassion, and respect for their individual needs and personality.
The most important part about being a nanny...
My favorite nanny moment was teaching the kids I care for to ride a bike. It was a big stepping stone in their lives and I was happy to be apart of that. Seeing them learn and grow was important to me.

Part-Time Nanny Available in Los Angeles, CA: Emily C.
Hi! I’m Emily, a 15-year-old who loves working with kids. I come from a very family-oriented background and have experience caring for children of different ages. My mom is a nanny, and I’ve spent summers and school breaks helping her. After her jobs ended, some families trusted me to continue babysitting their children. I’ve cared for siblings, individual children, and my younger cousins (two boys and one girl under 10, including one under 5).
I also spend every weekend with my 35-year-old uncle who has special needs, which has taught me patience, understanding, and compassion. In addition, I volunteer weekly at my local library reading to young children.
I’m responsible, caring, patient, friendly, and love creating a fun and safe environment for kids. My rate is $20/hour, but I’m happy to negotiate based on your family’s needs. I look forward to meeting you!

Hello everyone!
I am currently pursuing an education in film and marketing and live in Los Angeles. You will often find me taking care of children whether its paid opportunities, volunteering experiences or my very own nephews. I understand the need for a nanny and finding the right fit could be nerve wrecking but as someone who has been doing it for a while, it is great to spend time with them!
