A little bit about me

Hello! My name is Grace, i’m an aspiring elementary teacher! I have been in college on and off, trying to save! I worked as a lifeguard when I was 15; I saved 3 children from drowning! I am a very observant person. After working as a life guard I decided it was time to get a job in the field I want to be in - child work. I worked with the Tri-town YMCA in lombard for 2 years; Titled after school teaching assistant. Everyday I would work with 20+ children, adapting and adjusting to each of their needs, and teaching them ways to stay on top of homework, (so they have more time to play at home) and all in all creating a fun environment for the kiddos that have to stay till 6pm.
Currently I am working with St. Paul Christian Day care and kindergarten. My job is to help enforce early child development curriculum, and healthy happy play. I am very knowledgeable about the needs of 3-6 year olds. I can encourage brain stimulating play. I also have a 13yr old brother, and have cared for him.
