Not only have I volunteered with children, but I have helped raise my younger sister after my mom passed in 2018. This included housekeeping, meal prep, emotional support, transportation, and the list goes on… safe to say i’ve grown up pretty fast these past few years. i am glad to experience the rewarding feeling of investing in a child and watching them grow.

In high school I was in best buddies club where i taught and watched over the special needs students. I was also involved in Happy Feat which is a well known organization that hosts summer camps, proms, and much more events for the special needs. I enjoyed volunteering there the most! I have made long lasting friendships through involvement opportunities such as best buddies and happy feat.
