The most important part about being a nanny...
The most important part of being a nanny is creating a safe, consistent, and nurturing environment where children feel secure and supported, while also being a reliable and trustworthy partner to parents. When children feel safe and routines are consistent, they’re able to learn, grow, and thrive — and parents can have peace of mind knowing their family is in capable hands.
My experience with special needs children...
• 2+ years of hands-on experience caring for children with developmental and medical needs
• Direct experience supporting a child with Prader–Willi syndrome (PWS), including nutritional monitoring, structured routines, and behavior support
• Experience caring for children with autism spectrum disorder, focusing on communication support, sensory awareness, and routine consistency
• Assisted with medication administration, specialized meal preparation, and thickening liquids as required
• Transported children to PT, OT, and speech therapy and reinforced therapy goals during daily activities
• Supported potty training, social-skill development, and public-outing readiness
• Calm, patient, and safety-focused approach with strong attention to individual care plans
• Comfortable collaborating with parents and therapists to maintain consistent care strategies

The most important part about being a nanny...
One of my favorite nanny moments was watching a child I worked with overcome milestones that once felt overwhelming. After months of practicing therapy goals together and creating consistent routines, seeing her confidently participate in outings and daily activities was incredibly rewarding. Being part of that progress and knowing I helped create a safe, supportive environment for her growth is what I love most about being a nanny.

Hi! My name is Ashley Earnhart, I am 19 years old and currently attend Mizzou. I am looking to help assist families with nannying/ babysitting and am available until the second week of August.
I live in the Ellisville/Ballwin area but am not opposed to having to travel a little bit depending on the area.
I am familiar with all ages as I have worked at Lifetime in the kids academy and as a kids camp counselor and my grandma also started her own at home daycare which I would previously help out with.
I love spending time with kids and would say I am pretty enthusiastic along with super responsible. I am also CPR certified.
