A little bit about me

Hello, my name is Grace! I am a 21-year-old college student in search of a nannying position! I just got back from a semester studying abroad in Italy, but before that I worked as an assistant teacher in the toddler classroom at the CSU Early Childhood Center. I absolutely love and adore working with children. I am in the process of getting a bachelor's degree in Human Devlopment & Family Studies, in hopes of becoming a teacher. Three summers ago, I worked as a nanny for a family with children aged 5 and 9 and loved every minute of it. I am super excited to hopefully work with another amazing family this summer! I enjoy being in the outdoors, crafts, and spending quality time with my friends and family.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

I enjoy getting the kids outside, especially in the summertime. Going to local parks, pools, and open areas where we can make the most of the outdoors. I also love to play off of what the children are interested in! In the past with kids I have nannied, we have made obstacle courses, creative crafts and science experiments.

The most important part about being a nanny...

Obviously, the most important part of nannying is maintaining the children's safety and happiness. Besides those factors, I think that the most important part of nannying is creating a relationship with the kids. It is so important to be present with the kids and learn about their interests.
