More About Me
Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...
I have experience babysitting family members' children, often overnight, as well as neighbor's children. I also participated in a program called United sound, where I taught several special needs students how to play an instrument and perform a piece of music with their school's band. In high school, I participated in a class called pathways to teaching, where I traveled to Fort Zumwalt West Middle School and assisted their band directors in teaching one eighth grade class and three sixth grade classes. I have also taught music lessons to children ages 10 to 16 on multiple instruments.
Activities I enjoy doing with children...
I enjoy playing, teaching, and listening to music with children of all ages. I also love doing creative projects, whether that is painting, drawing, writing, or cooking. I also enjoy doing outdoor activities with children like riding bikes, going hikes, or having picnics.
My experience with special needs children...
I participated in a program called United Sound for two years while I was in high school. During this time I taught several special needs children how to play musical instruments and a beginner to intermediate level.
The most important part about being a nanny...
I always love baking with my nephews when I babysit! Not only does it teach them about cooking and safety in the kitchen, but knowing how happy it makes them to bake something makes me love it that much more.
