My experience with special needs children...
I have a 5 year old nephew with autism I watch every here and there and I have a 2 year old niece that has medical problems it’s called gastroschisis and she to be hooked up to a feeding bag for 20 hrs a day (which I know how hook up and make sure she doesn’t mess with it or that it gets tangled up on her or anything around her)
