I have been a full time nanny & babysitter for years and I love it. I also have experience working in a school as an assistant teacher, and have spent the last 6 years as a RBT working in clinical and home settings. Taking care of children is my passion.

Playing at parks, dancing to music, going on walks, reading, arts & crafts, etc. Anything that keeps the mind and body active and having fun!

Making sure that the children are safe, happy, and healthy. Helping them grow in learning is also extremely important.
My experience with special needs children...
I am a registered behavior technician that works with children on the spectrum. I have ASD and have leaned so many amazing skills to help combat the negative aspects. I love working with special needs children and helping them understand that they think a little differently, but that does not make them any less human or less perfect. Our differences our what make us who we are, and I strive to teach them that. As an RBT, I took data to track progress as well as ran learning based trials. I helped them regulate their emotions and find safe ways to stim without injuring themselves or others.
The most important part about being a nanny...
During my last nanny position, I spent a chunk of the mornings as a maid in between caring for the 3 children. As I was cleaning the floors, my 2 year old boy takes the mop, wrings it out, and comes over to help me with the floors and says that he is trying to help me so that we can play together. It melted my heart!
