A little bit about me

I have been babysitting kids outside of my family since I was approximately 14. I don't have a car, but I am more than happy to help with light housekeeping, laundry, and simple food preparation, and am open to trying anything else you might want help with. I am currently a student majoring in Early Childhood and Elementary Education so kids are my happy place and I love coming up with activities to do with them! I'm most comfortable with kids around 9 and younger, but I'm willing to go up to anywhere around 11 or 12 if needed. I do have 19 years of experience with severe physical and mental special needs, but not so much with serious behavioral needs. I'm also happy to help kids with their homework as needed and get kids to bed. :)

I've babysat for just about as long as I can remember and the past two summers I've had the opportunity to nanny for two different families: one with a four month old only, and the other with 4 kids aged 5-11.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

Anything and everything! Reading with kids is always fun, playing outside when the weather permits, having dance parties. I think child-led activities are fantastic!

My experience with special needs children...

My oldest sister has severe medical needs, among which are cerebral palsy, epilepsy, low vision, deafness, etc. I have been helping with her care since I was a child.
