Hi! I’m Grace! I’ve been a career nanny for 3 years and am CPR certified.

My current family’s schedule is reducing, and I’m looking for a full-time, long-term nanny position, with weekend and evening babysitting available.

I started babysitting at age 12 and have loved building strong relationships with the kids in my care. I’ve also coached gymnastics and swim lessons, helping kids stay active, learn new skills, and gain confidence.

I adore cats (I have two!), love coffee, and enjoy working out, reading, painting, and spending time with friends. I’m big on self-expression and have tattoos and ear/nose piercings, which kids often find fun and interesting.

More About Me

Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

I have experience as a camp counselor working with children ages 3–6, where I also taught swimming to 3- and 4-year-olds.
Additionally, I have worked as a gymnastics coach for children ages 3–15.

I also have experience as a travel nanny, providing care for children in a variety of settings.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

I love taking kids to the park and the pool or anywhere the kids can get moving and their energy out! The library for story time is a big hit! The discovery place for kids in Huntersville is amazing as well. I prefer minimal screen time and using our big imaginations.

The most important part about being a nanny...

The most important part of my work is feeling like a true part of the family, where my perspective is respected and valued. I believe it takes a village to raise children, and every member of that village should be heard. Beyond that, I deeply value the love and connection I share with the kids—I don’t see this as just a job. I think this sense of care, commitment, and mutual trust is what allows me to provide the best support for the children and families I work with

My experience with special needs children...

I have experience caring for children with epilepsy, sensory processing challenges, and autism. I am skilled in supporting children with special needs and have developed effective communication techniques to engage with and assist each child in a way that meets their individual needs.

The most important part about being a nanny...

One of my favorite moments as a nanny was returning to my hometown to visit a family I had cared for. Seeing the children’s faces light up and run to hug me after not seeing me for some time was an incredibly heartwarming and joyful experience. Moments like these are why I love what I do—building trust, connection, and lasting bonds with the children I care for is truly rewarding.
