More About Me
Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...
Over the years of Covid, I card for three little boys in the neighborhood, being 6, 9, and 12 years old. We spent the mornings being outside, lunch and the afternoon staying inside doing crafts, naps, or playing with toys, and the evenings going right back outside! I took a break from nannying as I grew my resume and experience in animal science! However, now that the hard work is done (almost), I am excited to be able to get back to nannying!
Activities I enjoy doing with children...
For indoor activities I love to set up crafts, puzzles, and games to keep the kids entertained! I enjoyed it the most when we were all doing one activity, but I also let each kid branch out and do their own thing when they wanted to! When we were inside I had to limit the screen time with the boys so these crafts and activities really encouraged this!
Outdoors, we also enjoyed playing group games and just chilling in the sun! The boys I took care of were very imaginative, so it was really easy to join in on their fun and games! We also went on a lot of walks, as the family lived in a nice small neighborhood!

The most important part about being a nanny...
To me the most important thing about being a nanny is making sure the kids are having a fun time and making memories whenever they can! However, things don't always go the way we want to, so being there for each kid also plays a large part!
My experience with special needs children...
I currently do not have any experience with special needs children, but it is not something I am against learning or exploring!
The most important part about being a nanny...
When I was babysitting the three boys, there was multiple times where I could tell they were having a fun time, and it always filled my heart. One specific time that sticks out to me was when I was in the store, outside of nannying hours, I saw all the boys I took care of! They all ran up to me so excited to see me, even though I was with them 4 days a week!
