When it comes to childcare, I have 4 years of paid experience caring for children from the ages of 3 months to 4 years old. I worked in the nursery at my hometown church. I also have experience babysitting older children too, including my 6 year old nephew and his friends (both girl and boy).
Activities I enjoy doing with children...
I enjoy doing fun activities all around! Whether it’s making craft activities, baking, or playing with toys, I’m all for it.
Additionally, if you are wanting to limit screen time (or have no screen time at all), I am more than willing to assist in making this happen! There are plenty of other activities we can come up with.
If screen time is not a concern, no problem at all there either.

The most important part about being a nanny is showing up.
Showing up in every aspect is important regardless of age. Children are constantly developing and changing but the need of knowledge in knowing someone will always show up for them will be constant!

While I have minimal experience with special needs children, I have a lot of experience with special needs adults from my days in caregiving. However, the principles are the same: be kind and patient.

One of my favorite nanny/babysitting moments was playing in the backyard on the inflatable water slide! I watched while the kids slid down and showed me their variety of ways to do it!
