The most important part of being a nanny to me is keeping children safe, happy, and supported while helping them grow and learn. I strive to form a genuine connection with every child and treat them with the same care, respect, and love as if they were my own. Building trust, understanding their individual needs, and creating a positive, nurturing environment are at the heart of everything I do.

My experience with special needs children...

I have experience supporting children with special needs and have always felt a natural gift for connecting with them. For example, when I was younger, I helped a non-verbal child practice writing letters on a drawing pad, something he had never done before. I’m patient, attentive, and enjoy finding creative and supportive ways to help every child learn, grow, and gain confidence.

The most important part about being a nanny...

My favorite moments caring for children are when they greet me with hugs when I arrive, want to sit in my lap, or ask for me when I’m not there. I also love hearing a child say my name for the first time, especially since it can be tricky to pronounce — it’s such a special reminder that they feel comfortable and connected with me. These little moments make caring for children so rewarding and remind me why I love spending time with them.
