Activities I enjoy doing with children...
My favorite thing to do with kids is spend time being active and having fun together. I love being outside—going for walks, playing games, going to the park, swimming, or just enjoying the day outdoors. I’m always happy to jump in the pool or the lake and be part of whatever activities the kids enjoy.
I also really enjoy the simple moments like making lunches together, doing crafts, or just hanging out and talking. I’m pretty go-with-the-flow and love getting involved in whatever the kids are excited about, because those are usually the moments they have the most fun. For me, it’s all about creating a fun, positive environment where kids feel comfortable being themselves and enjoying their summer.

The most important thing about being a nanny, in my opinion, is building strong and trusting relationships. Creating genuine connections with the kids I care for is really important to me because it helps them feel comfortable, supported, and safe. I love being someone kids can have fun with, play with, and be active with, but also someone they know they can come to if they need help or want to talk about something.
I also believe in leading by example and being a positive role model. Kids learn so much from the people around them, so I always try to show kindness, responsibility, and respect in the way I interact with them.
Just as important is building an open and honest relationship with the whole family, including the parents. I believe being transparent and communicating well helps build trust so parents feel confident that their kids are in good hands. Creating that team-like relationship with the family helps make the experience positive for everyone.
