My name is Mili Gurung and I live in Sonoma State University. I was born in Nepal, grew up in Los Angeles , and I Immigrated from Nepal to Los Angeles when I was 5 years old. However I know to speak Nepali, Hindi, and Spanish. Some of my hobbies include yoga, reading, organizing and cleaning. I am currently in school at Sonoma State University; I am studying to achieve a Bachelors in Nursing. I spent part of my Spring 2018 semester in Central America, as an intern with a sustainable community in Panama. We lived outdoors in a beautiful jungle valley and we completed research projects to further understand the environment and its inhabitants; including the animals and people within the indigenous communities. Throughout my experience I learned so much about myself, and about what I want to do with my life, which is to work with people. I am outgoing, passionate, I have great work ethic, and I love people (especially kids)!
