The most important part of being a nanny/babysitter to me is teaching kids about being independent and instilling confidence in themselves! Seeing kids blossom and grow into themselves is one of the most rewarding feelings in the world!
My experience with special needs children...
I have worked with some children who are nonverbal with my experience at the YMCA. These children taught me the biggest lesson anyone can learn in life. Communication with children that cannot speak for themselves is a beautiful thing and it’s an even more beautiful thing to be able to understand them without their words!
The most important part about being a nanny...
My favorite moment would have to be when I was watching a brother (6yo) and sister (2) who are so full of energy. I was getting ready to put them to bed and they both wanted to blow bubbles SO bad. We couldn’t go outside because it was pitch black, so we had a bubble party in the little girl’s room! Their giggles and smiles made the moment [phone number hidden] times better!
