I currently work at Milestones Day Care as an Assistant GSRP Teacher, where I have the opportunity to care for and teach young children in a structured, educational environment. In addition, I’ve previously worked at Room To Bloom as a Floating Assistant Teacher, providing hands-on care for infants and toddlers. Through these roles, I’ve gained valuable experience in child development and providing nurturing care that promotes growth and learning in children.

I love spending time outdoors with children, whether it’s going for walks, playing in the park, or just exploring nature. I also enjoy getting creative with crafts, where we can make fun and educational projects together. These activities allow children to use their imagination, stay active, and have fun while learning new skills.

The most important part about being a nanny...

For me, the most important part of being a nanny is building a strong, trusting relationship with both the child and the family. It’s essential to create a safe, nurturing environment where children feel loved and supported while they grow and explore. Being reliable, compassionate, and adaptable is key, as it allows me to meet the unique needs of each child while providing peace of mind to parents.

While my experience with special needs children is limited, I currently work with a child in our class who has special needs, which has provided me with valuable hands-on experience. I am committed to learning and improving my ability to support children with diverse needs and am eager to take more steps to expand my knowledge and skills in this area.

The most important part about being a nanny...

One of my favorite nanny moments was when I helped a child create their very first art project. Seeing the joy on their face when they saw what they had created, and knowing I helped nurture their creativity, was so rewarding. It’s little moments like that—when a child feels proud and confident—that remind me why I love working with kids.
