My experience with special needs children...
I have 5 years experience of after school care for 4 special needs children. Ages ranging from 7-12 years old.
One child was non-verbal while the remaining three were on the higher functioning side of the spectrum. Such a joy and rewarding position looking after these kiddos.

The emotional connections built with my kiddos. The big smiles when I arrive to play and even the hugs and cries when I’m preparing to leave. I love being such a good friend and playmate to these sweet little hearts.
