I worked at Walt Disney World for the Walt Disney company for two years where I worked in children's recreational activities.
Throughout my four years in my ECE program at UNCG, I have been placed in a licensed child care facility each semester working and gaining professional experience with different age groups.
I currently work at a church child development center and am a floater teacher. I work with children from ages one to school-aged daily.

The most important part about being a nanny...
The most important thing to me about being a nanny for children/families is to ensure that the children are safe and loved. The safety of your children is my main priority which is why I take pride in being CPR certified and First Aid Trained. Aside from that, I believe the next most important asset is that your children are loved, respected, and their needs are being met.
My experience with special needs children...
In the preschool classroom in which I conducted my student teaching semester, I worked with a child who had an IEP and on the Autism spectrum. He had social-emotional needs as well as language support and I loved being able to work with him an provide the extra care and support that he needed.
