More About Me
Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...
I have extensive experience working with children, starting from when my mom was a foster parent. Growing up in that environment, I was actively involved in caring for children of different ages, helping with daily routines, and providing a supportive and nurturing presence. This early exposure to childcare led me to become a nanny, where I have cared for multiple children at once, managing their schedules, school drop-offs and pick-ups, meal prep, and daily activities. In addition to nannying, I have also worked as a house manager, ensuring that the household runs smoothly by handling various responsibilities such as organization, errands, and maintaining a structured yet comfortable environment for both the children and parents. My combined experience has given me strong skills in multitasking, patience, and creating a positive space for children to thrive.
Activities I enjoy doing with children...
I love engaging kids in fun and enriching activities that allow them to explore, learn, and create lasting memories. Taking walks is one of my favorite things to do, as it gives kids a chance to get fresh air, move their bodies, and discover the world around them. I also enjoy visiting amusement parks and water parks, where they can experience excitement and adventure in a safe and thrilling way. Craft activities are another favorite, as they encourage creativity and hands-on learning, whether it’s painting, making DIY projects, or simple coloring activities. I also love trips to the zoo, where kids can see and learn about different animals, sparking their curiosity and appreciation for nature. These activities not only keep children entertained but also provide opportunities for learning, bonding, and making unforgettable experiences together.
My experience with special needs children...
As a nanny, I have had the experience of caring for a child with medical needs, which required extra attentiveness, patience, and adaptability. I was responsible for following specific care routines, administering medication as directed, and ensuring the child’s comfort and well-being throughout the day. I worked closely with the parents to stay informed about their medical requirements and any changes in their care plan. This experience taught me the importance of being detail-oriented, calm under pressure, and compassionate in providing the best possible care for a child with unique needs.
The most important part about being a nanny...
One of my favorite memories as a nanny is watching the kids grow, learn, and become more independent over time. Seeing their excitement when they figure out something new or reach a milestone is so rewarding. But what truly melts my heart is when the bond between us deepens, when they light up with excitement as soon as they see me, run up for a hug, or share their little stories from the day. Knowing that I play a role in their development and that they feel safe and happy with me makes being a nanny such a fulfilling experience.
