More About Me
Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...
I currently nanny three wonderful and chaotic boys (2, 4, and 7), and have been with this family for about two and a half years now! The boys are all in school now, so my position has transitioned to picking them up from school and occasional babysitting. I would love to find another position that allows me to still pick them up from school two to three days a week!
Before nannying for the previously mentioned family, I taught at a Montessori preschool for two years. I spent some time in a primary classroom (ages 2.5 to 5) when I first started there, but the majority of my time was spent in the infant room! I love working with all ages, but I’ve found that I particularly like working with babies- their stages of development are just so exciting!
I have several more years of experience with regular babysitting and part-time nannying with all different age groups, and they’ve all been so much fun!

Activities I enjoy doing with children...
I like getting kids outdoors- exploring nature and getting comfortable with animals- but I’m also a big fan of a good movie night.
The most important part about being a nanny...
Is listening and paying attention. I try to remember to not be in too much of a hurry, and that getting things done is not the most important thing. The most important thing I can be for a child is a listening ear and a warm hug.
