I love playing with playdough, coloring, playing with dolls or action figures, and planning fun activities based on children’s interests to get their creativity flowing and them off the couch and moving around!
My experience with special needs children...
I don’t have the most hands on experience with children with special needs, however my degree was a Special Education degree with a specialty in birth through kindergarten. Additionally, in my internship I had a student with cerebral palsy. She had an aide so I didn’t have to do very much, but I was exposed to what was going on.
