I was a supervisor at the kids club in my gym back home for two years where I met many families who hired me on as occasional sitter and grew very attached to those families and kids. Now I do it for the same company here in Colorado in Loveland and the kids are the best part of my day.

I love taking the kids outside, I think it’s much more important for kids to get the sensory feel of being outdoors then being indoors on a tablet. I love being outside as well so any chance that we can go for a walk, bike ride, anything I’m down for.
The most important part about being a nanny...
Is to remember that the kids are humans too. They have feelings and emotions. In my experience it’s best to treat children like their equal, get on their level, look them in the eye and talk so they understand, it helps them realize that hey my feelings matter and I need to learn how to control my emotions a little better.
