The most important part about being a nanny...
I think one of the most important parts about being a nanny is having the right balance between friend and supervisor. Safety is always the number one concern with me always but I like to have balance to also enjoy the time I spend with my kids and not overwhelm them.
My experience with special needs children...
I was a volunteer for a program with autistic children where we would go do activities like go to the bounce house as a group. I have also babysat a 12 year old boy with autism 2 summers ago and would accompany him to his summer camp and spend the day assisting him with anything he needed.
The most important part about being a nanny...
One of my favorite nanny moments was when this little 1 and a half year old I was watching brought a picnic to his local park and we spent hours watching the baby ducks in the park and eating our lunch. It was a really sweet day.
