When I was in Christian school I volunteered in the cafeteria for the younger kids, I also did Sunday school classes, and I worked in the nursery with all the kids. I did that from age 13 up until now I am a mother. I also raised my little brother from a broken home & got custody of him at age 15.
Activities I enjoy doing with children...
I love to take kids to the park and play! I love to watch educational shows on the tv for a few hours! I like to play twister and board games with the older kids, or watch movies & after homework video games if parents allow it.
The most important part about being a nanny...
I feel the most important part of being a nanny is making sure the kids are happy , and making sure they are comfortable with you and trust you & feel at home . I also think that respect is also a very important part when being a nanny. I just want the kids to be happy, healthy, and feel at home always.
My experience with special needs children...
My cousin has Down syndrome. I have experience with special needs kids. They are extremely bright & just because of their disability it doesn't make them any different than us. They can be a handful at times but best thing to do is stay busy !
The most important part about being a nanny...
I watched this one sweet baby girl from the time she was 2 weeks old up until her first birthday I watched her 2-5 times a week if not more. Her mother wasn’t in the best of health so I watched her and her sister and they were both such a joy to be around ! Her big sister had so much fun at the park and playing in the sprinklers & water slide . It was just amazing to bring a smile to there faces !!
