Activities I enjoy doing with children...
I love doing crafts, playing games (real or make-believe), reading with kiddos (if that's something they like to do!) and am more than happy to take them to a favorite park, the library, etc. My past kiddos gave me very high praise on putting on a good snack time, and particularly loved "song picking" - I help them make their own (age appropriate) playlists on my Spotify to listen to while driving them in the car, at home, etc.
The most important part about being a nanny...
My motto when nannying or babysitting is this: as long as my kiddos are safe, healthy, and happy... then I'm happy! For me personally, this is the most important part about being a nanny, because these are my core values in childcare :)

I have cared for children with varying special needs including: children with a variety of neuromuscular diseases, nonverbal children, children diagnosed with autism, children with quadriplegia, and more.

The twins I was caring for told me "the most fun days" were the ones that we got to spend together. Every time I'd step onto the front porch, I could hear the pattering of their feet in the house as they'd sprint to the front door to jump on me with hugs <3
