Hi there!
I’m Psyche, I am currently a student at Macomb Community. I am going for psychology and culinary. I am also taking an herbal medicine class & plan to incorporate that into my degrees, as I have a passion for natural medicine and its benefits. I also do art and I spend most of my free time doing any project that I can. I love working with children! I used to teach swimming lessons to young kids, I have had multiple nanny jobs and babysitting gigs, and I am also the eldest sibling to 3 younger siblings. I am not fluent in any other languages, but i do know the basics of arabic, spanish, and french! I love animals and would be willing to care for pets as well, and am also willing to help keep a tidy home!

More About Me

Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

I was a lifeguard and taught swimming lessons to kids between the ages of 1-12. Since the age of 15 I have had multiple babysitting gigs. I am also the eldest sibling to 3, so there were years that I was the babysitter. I have also volunteered at multiple school events for my siblings as well.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

I love doing any form of craft or art projects. I enjoy going to the park or doing an activity outside. I enjoy playing board games or watching movies. I also enjoy incorporating a form of educational activity whether that be practicing language, cooking, reading, or anything that utilizes and exercises their imagination.

The most important part about being a nanny...

I value being able to exercise the imagination and care for the sense of wonder. I like to focus on projects and make sure they have the play time they need as well as their general care.

My experience with special needs children...

My younger brother is autistic and so I had first hand experience in my home dealing with a child on the spectrum.

Honestly I really value their precious worldview and general curiosity to life, I never mind the abundance of questions or the stories they want to share. It always warms my heart when they’ve had a good day and want me to come back or don’t want to stop playing
