More About Me
Activities I enjoy doing with children...
I love to incorporate immersive, educational, and exciting activities that are specific for that child's age & developmental needs. Some examples could be- crafts, science experiments, pretend play, sidewalk chalk, building forts, or cooking. I'm also a strong advocate for activities that promote exercise, like park play, swimming, riding bikes/scooters, nature walks, or playing sports!
The most important part about being a nanny...
The bond that I form with the kids and the families is the most special thing to me about being a nanny! It's an amazing experience to watch a child grow/thrive and be a part of that!
The most important part about being a nanny...
My favorite nanny moment would have to be this sweet story about the 8 year old girl I previously nannied. She was having a really rough week, and I could tell her mood had been lower than usual the last few days. I decided to gather as much supplies as possible to create a "spa day" for her in hopes to raise spirits and relax her mind. We had spa robes, relaxing music, twinkle lights, lemon water, nail polish, and of course the cucumbers! It was such a fun day that I could tell really cheered her up at the time! Even though that was a blast, it's not why I've chosen this as my favorite moment. Months later when I was moving and saying my goodbyes, her mom pulled me aside and tearfully thanked me for that day. She told me how her daughter talked about that for months to follow and how much it really did help her at the time! Knowing the impact I made from a simple spa day warmed my heart more than ever!! I still fly back home and have those spa days whenever we can!

Hi, I'm Kristina! I used to babysit two girls my junior and senior years of high school. When I first started babysitting them, the girls were 9 months and 4 years old. Together we would typically, make jewelry, draw, watch a movie, or play at the neighborhood playground. I made sure the girls were always fed and fell asleep at an appropriate time.
