Activities I enjoy doing with children...
I love arts and crafts, board games, puzzles, science experiments and movie parties! One of my favorite indoor activities is scavenger hunts, and one of my favorite outdoor activities are obstacle courses in the back yard!
The most important part about being a nanny...
I like to consider myself “parental support”. I promise to love your child on the good days and the bad, to learn and grow with your child, and to let them experience being a kid for as long as possible. To me, a nanny is there to help parents as much as possible so that when you come home, you can spend as much time focusing on your child without having to worry about if they were loved while you were away! I’m always happy to help out with any child related duties, including laundry, emptying the dishwasher, meal prep, grocery shopping, and playroom organizing!
My experience with special needs children...
I have a degree in special education, and was also a part time sitter and then nanny for twin boys with autism. I’m most comfortable with Down’s syndrome, ASD, emotional behavioral disorder, and learning disorders, but I’m always happy to grow and learn with you and your child
