A little bit about me

Hi! My name is Hannah Stevens. I’m a babysitter/nanny for kids from 6 m/o and up, I’m familiar working with kids with special needs and I was previously trained in first aid/cpr. I have worked with several different families consistently for the past 4/5 years, while also working in the preschool at my school, Athens High school for a class year round where they taught me necessary caregiving courses/tests. I have multiple references and certificates that I would gladly provide, as well as having my license and my own car. I can also provide a background check if need be, whatever is needed to make the families that I work with feel comfortable! I am 19, but I have worked with multiple families consistently and taken multiple classes to ensure that I am more than capable to take care of your child. More About Me

Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

I have been a babysitter for the past 4/5 years and now i'm looking for a more reliable, long-term and full time job. I have also worked in a pre-school for a year round class, that I took several courses and tests for. Ive had a few jobs as a nanny as well.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

I love making arts and crafts with the kids, simple projects like painting, drawing, or paper crafts really help express creativity and develop fine motor skills!
If the weather is nice we also love playing outdoor games! Games such as tag, toys, or made up games helps the children burn out some energy while getting in some fresh air!
There are plenty of games that are both fun and educational to play as well, like puzzles, board games, or even simple "science experiments". These games can help them learn new concepts while still having a good time!!
Last but not least I'll have to admit I'm quite the bookworm. I live for Library trips!! I love reading to the children, while also getting them to have a go at it, depending on their age!
My goal for your child is to have fun, but also learn helpful skills and further their development as a person!!

The most important part about being a nanny...

To me personally, the most important part about being a nanny/babysitter is making sure that the parent/children are comfortable and that the child/children is safe. As a nanny you take on the responsibility of taking care of the child while also building a special trust with the child/parents. Of course there are plenty other important things like child development or just making sure the child/children is enjoying the time we spend together and have fun! But the most important thing is that they are comfortable and safe.
