I used to be a part of a program specifically designed to equip me with the skills and knowledge needed to provide extended care for children. Throughout this comprehensive three-year journey, I received training in essential first aid, as well as creative ways to ensure both the safety and educational enrichment of the children in my care. During this, I had many experiences where I was solely responsible for multiple young children of varying ages, and I quickly grew comfortable with nannying any and all kids!

Safety! Being a nanny is so much fun and such a special experience, but it comes with tremendous responsibility. Safety of the child should always be top priority above everything else, as well as strong communication with the parents so that they know their child is in good hands.

While I do not possess prior experience working with special needs children, I am enthusiastic about acquiring such expertise and wholeheartedly embracing the opportunity to cater to their unique needs with empathy and understanding.

I used to nanny three siblings all under the age of six, and one day we were drawing on whiteboards and one of the girls, Blaire, drew a picture of her family with me in it. She told me I was her best friend and that just about melted my heart. It is such a beautiful experience to be able to have such an impact on a child's life in just a short time.
