I have done several volunteer work for babysitting in nursery’s at church, watching my younger sibling. I have had paid experience as babysitting. I have been a sub paraprofessional for pre-k4/and a special needs class.
Activities I enjoy doing with children...
My favorite activities to do with kids would definitely be outdoor activities! Such as, taking them to the park, playing on the swing set, playing ball, looking at nature. I feel it is a huge role for kids to grow up not always looking at a screen. I also enjoy making crafts with them, and story time or even acting out the story!
The most important part about being a nanny...
The most important part about being a babysitter/nanny is that I am providing a safe and comfortable environment. I think it is very important to understand and have knowledge of each kids different needs. It is very important to also make sure the kids know they are safe with you and can feel comfortable without there parents home.
My experience with special needs children...
I have had very few experience with special needs children although the experience I had I really enjoyed. I did a substitute shift for a para pro in a special needs class.
